Web Resources Can Help you Strengthen your Faith

If you're a Christian, there are many resources on the web to help you learn more about the Bible and strengthen your faith. My favorite site at www.godsview.com provides an on-line concordance for the Bible. Suppose you wanted to find this verse: "The eyes of the Lord move to and fro over the earth that He might strongly support those whose hearts are completely his." I first went to the site above and typed "strongly support" into the box next to the SEARCH button and clicked search. Nothing resulted because this is a concordance of the King James version, and I'm remembering the verse in some other version. I search again on "to and fro" and get a longish list of verses. I can identify that the one I'm looking for is 2 Chronicles 16:9.

If you like Christian radio but can't listen to your favorite programs when they're on the air, many ministries offer the ability to listen on-line whenever you want. My favorite is "Unshackled", an old fashioned radio drama from Pacific Garden Mission in Chicago that brings true stories to life. To hear one of their broadcasts on-line , go to www.unshackled.org and click the Unshackled link on the left and then the Listen Online link at the top. Other ministries with audio archives include:

Another type of site that my sister-in-law told me about is a Christian discussion forum. Many of these will appeal especially to people in the Roman Catholic church. They include:
